The Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard has commenced a search for two people who have gone missing in the Martha Brae River in Trelawny.

Circumstances of the incident are not yet clear.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Winston Milton says reports are that a passenger fell off a raft and the captain went in to rescue him but neither can be found.
