Stafanie Taylor and her team Western Storm loses in Kia Super T/20 League in England

Jamaican all-rounder Stafanie Taylor was unable to prevent defending champions the Western Storm from a 9 run defeat against the surrey stars in the semi-finals of the Kia Super League T/20 in England – a result that saw them relinquishing their title.

The Stars batting first made 162 for 5 led by Natalie Sciver who smashed 72 off 43 balls.

Taylor who took one for 28, was one of four storm bowlers to end with a wicket.

Western storm in reply was restricted to 153 for 6 from their 20 overs.

Fran Wilson top-scored with 58 not out while Taylor added 16.

Final scores in that match surrey stars 162 for 5, Western Storm 153 for 6.

The stars in the meantime would go on to be crowned champions after beating Lawbro Lightning by 66 runs in the final which was played on the same day.
