Jamaica’s national senior football squad is heading off on Sunday for a training camp in New Jersey ahead of their opening game in the Concacaf Nations League tournament.
The reggae boys training camp at the Red Bulls facility will culminate with a friendly International against Central American team Ecuador on September 7.
They will return to the island on September 8 for their Nations Cup clash with the Cayman Islands inside the National Stadium on September 9.
9 local based players will be in the travelling party on Sunday with the other 14 players to join the aggregation in New York………..the 14 includes players from Europe and North America.
Team manager Roy Simpson says it’s good to have the players together although they would have preferred to have them together for a longer period.
