20 new high school students from the Kitson Town community in St. Catherine have received scholarships to start their secondary education.

The scholarships are funded by proceeds derived from the book Triumphs, written by journalist Garfield Angus.

They were presented at the Ktson Town community resource centre, on Thursday.

Former pastor of the Kitson Town Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wayne Smikle, said the educational support will have a multiplier effect, in motivating the recipients for greater achievements.
