by September 3rd, 2018

It was a star studded, celebrity driven evening Down Town Kingston, on the Waterfront, Sunday evening!

The Victoria Pier was abuzz with music, food and party, as the ecclectic DJ at the controls, Mutabaruka invited patrons to party on the roof at ocean seven sky bar – Victoria Pier, in the aptly titled Riddim Sundayz

The cool breeze from the Caribbean Sea welcomed patrons who poured onto the roof to the sounds of Jamaican music from Ska, Rocksteady, Dub, Reggae and 80s dancehall.

Among the those dancing into till midnight  were Representatives from the Diplomatic Community, including Portugal’s Ambassador to Jamaica and his wife  Pauletta, Marcia Griffiths, Orente Issa, Bob Andy, Yasus Afari, Joan Gordon Webley, IRIE FM’S Digital Chris and Kabu Maat Kheru, Professor Clinton Hutton, Professor Carolyn Cooper, Kiddus I, Dr Velma Pollard, representatives from Grace Kennedy, among others.

Mutabaruka tells music news that Riddim Sundayz is part of a wider vision to bring back high quality entertainment to Down Town Kingston.

The Next Riddim Sundayz will be next Sunday at 5pm.
