Three Jamaicans named  in the  2018  Hero Caribbean Premier League All Stars Team

Three  Jamaicans  have  been  named  in the  2018  hero  Caribbean  Premier  League  all-stars  team  announced  yesterday  following  the  completion  of  the  season on Sunday  in  Trinidad.

Captain Andre  Russell,  pacer  Oshane  Thomas  and  Rovman  Powell of  the  Jamaica Tallawahs   are  in the  team…………..Powell scored  330  runs  in the  competition, Thomas  captured  18  wickets and  Russell  scored  163  runs, while  picking  up  14  wickets.

Also  in  the  team  are  regional  players  Shimron  Hetmeyer, Kieron  Powell and  Darren  Bravo, while  the overseas players that have made it into the team are Colin Munro  and Glenn Philips of New Zealand, Imran Tahir  of South Africa, Fawad Ahmed  of Australia and Ali Khan of the USA.

The team was selected by Tom Moody, Mark Butcher, Daren Ganga, Ian Bishop, Danny Morrison and Michael Slater.

In the  meantime  Hero  CPL’s  Director  for  international  cricket  Tom  Moody  says   the performances of both Hetmyer and Thomas have been a highlight of the tournament.

The Trinbago Knightriders became the first team to capture consecutive Hero Caribbean Premier League titles when they romped  to  a 8 wicket win over the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the championship decider on Sunday  at the Brian Lara stadium.
