Indecom’s Director of Complaints for the Eastern Region, Nigel Morgan gave the update on 5 separates cases at yesterday’s press conference.

As it regards Ms. Morris case, Mr. Morgan said the post mortem has been done.

Morris was reportedly found hanging in a holding cell at the St. Andrew Parish Court, in March.

In the case of Williams, Mr. Morgan said statements have been collected from witnesses.

Williams was killed by cops in Standpipe, St. Andrew in July.

The Indecom Director added that for the shooting in Liguanea, during which a female bystander was wounded, the ballistics are outstanding.

In the Cassia Park incident, Indecom is awaiting the medical certificate.

Mr. Morgan said for the shooting of teenager, Casey Lake, in Swallowfield St. Andrew earlier this month, Idecom has conducted interviews with the cops involved.

He said with the investigations being at advanced stages, it’s expected that the final reports will be submitted soon to the Commissioner for a decision.
