Reggae girls one win away from clinching a spot in 2019 FIFA World Cup

Jamaica’s reggae girls are now within one win in their quest to book a spot at next year’s FIFA World Cup in France.

This after they produced  another  big  performance  last  night  at  the  Concacaf  Women’s  championships as led by a hat trick from the diminutive Jody Brown the Jamaicans ran out 9 nil winners over Cuba –  in their final group B’ game at the H-E-B’ Park Field  in  Texas to earn a semi-final place

Kadijah Shaw started   the rout in the second minute, while Sashana Campbell scored twice.

The  reggae  girls  finished   second  in  group  B’  with  six  points  from their three games behind  group winners Canada.

Assistant  coach  of the  reggae  girls  team  Andrew  price  dedicated  the  team’s  success  to  the  ailing  former  national  striker  Luton  Shelton.

The  reggae  girls  will  take  on  group  a  winners  the  united  states  in the  second  semi-final  on  Sunday at  the  Toyota  Stadium  in Frisco  Texas  after  Canada face  Panama in semi-final one

Canada  wrapped  up  the  group  with  a  perfect  9  points  following  their  3-1  triumph  over  Costa  Rica  in the  second  game  of  the  double header.
