by October 18th, 2018

West Indies global batting super star Chris Gayle is the biggest name among the International marquee players, who are down to compete in South Africa’s re-branded T/20 competition the Mzansi Super League.

This after he put pen to paper to play for the Jozi Stars.

The left-handed batsman was ignored by the Durban heat, who had the first pick among the internationals.

Jozi Stars were second on the international draft list, and chose the big-hitting Gayle to get them going at the top of the order.

The other West Indian among the international players is Dwayne Bravo who will play for the Paarl Rocks.

While England batsman Dawid Malan was snapped up by the Cape Town Blitz.

The Tshwane Spartans were able to snare England T/20 captain Eoin Morgan, while fellow English batsman Jason Roy was the final pick for the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.

But it remains to be seen when exactly these overseas will play in South Africa, as they are all involved in a T/10 league event in Sharjah from November 23 to December 2, while the Mzansi Super League will be held from November 16 to December 16.
