Lebron James fires up 26 points, in loss to Portland Trailblazers

LeBron James made an electric start to life with the Los Angeles Lakers, but his impressive performance was not enough to spark a victory as the Lakers lost 128-119 to the Portland trailblazers last night in the NBA.

The 33-year-old signed a four-year, $154 million deal with the Lakers in July finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds and six assists on a much anticipated debut.  for the trailblazers Damian Lillard scored a game high 28 points with Mik Stauskas adding an additional 24.

In other games Joel Embiid scored 30 points and pulled 12 rebounds to steer the Philadelphia 76ers to a 127 -108 win over the Chicago Bulls, while john wall’s 26 points was enough to help the Miami Heat to a narrow 113-112 triumph over the Washington wizards .
