Detectives probing the killing of a ST Ann teenager collected another statement last night , hours after the girl’s school bag and a foot of her school shoes were recovered close to where her body was found.
The body of 14 year old Raven Wilson was discovered with a wound to the face, in a garbage bag in her community, on Sunday. She was reported missing two days earlier.
Reports to IRIE FM news are that the first foot of shoe was handed over to police on Monday.
Head of the ST Ann police Senior Superintendent Michael Smith says investigators have also questioned a number of persons who they believe may have useful information relating to the death of the teenager.
SSP smith told IRIE F-M NEWS that no suspect has yet been identified.
He says residents have been sharing information with the police and he is appealing to them to allow the investigators to unearth the details of the case.
Meantime SSP Smith is urging residents to stay away from the crime scene so as not to contaminate the area.
