The man accused of the murder of a St. Ann toddler in July 2016 was today (Nov 2) sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.

He is Alexus Newland.

He was found guilty of the killing of 3 year old Nevalisa Campbell, in Orange Hill, Brown’s Town St. Ann.

Newland is to serve 16 years before being eligible for parole.

Reports are that Newland chopped the toddler to death, and tossed her body in an open lot in the Orange Hill community.
