Sunil Narine traded to Quetta Gladiatiors in PSL

by November 4th, 2018

West Indies mystery spinner Sunil Narine was one of several high-profile exits from the under-performing Lahore Qalandars ahead of the 4th edition of the Pakistan Super League.

Narine, who joined the Qalanders in 2017, picked up 20 wickets at an average of 20.65 during his two-year stint with the team.

He will now represent the Quetta Gladiators to whom he was traded along with Pakistan middle-order batsman Umar Akmal in a multi-player deal that sees Rahat Ali and former Pakistan under-19 captain Hassan Khan moving the other way, into the Lahore franchise.

The swap deal between the Qalandars and Gladiators will see Lahore taking Quetta’s first round platinum pick and Quetta getting Lahore’s silver pick in the second round of the PSL Draft.

The 5th edition of the Pakistan Super League is scheduled to bowl off on February 14.
