Conscious reggae singer Queen Ifrica is calling on Vybz Kartel to retract old comments he made allegedly accusing her of skin bleaching.

In an Instagram video, the daughter of entertainer Derrick Morgan used colourful Jamaican words to deliver her message. In the video she shared with her over 140K followers, Queen Ifrica also urged Vybz Kartel to make a public apology.

The probability of Queen Ifrica getting a public apology from Vybz Kartel is slim considering the jailed dancehall deejay is currently serving a life sentence at hard labour for murder.

All this talk about colourism resurfaced after Spice pretended to be white to promote her single Black Hypocrisy. The act did not only garnered international attention but landed Spice in the top spot on the iTunes reggae charts in the US and the UK.
