India seals six-wicket victory over the West Indies and complete a 3-nil T/20 series whitewash

Shikhar Dhawan smashed a quick fire half century to help India seal a six-wicket victory over the West Indies and complete a 3-nil series whitewash of the Caribbean side in the third and final T/20 international in Chennai today.

Dhawan made his highest Twenty20 international score of 92 off 62 balls as India chasing 182 runs to win got to their target off the very last delivery of the game.

Dhawan also shared in a third wicket stand worth 130 runs with Rishbah Pant who scored 58.

This against Keemo Paul who picked up 2 for 32, with a wicket each for Oshane Thomas and Fabian Allen .

Earlier the Caribbean men batting first posted 181 for 3, led by Nicholas Pooran who scored a half century 53 runs and Darren Bravo who offered support with a unbeaten 43 .

Bowling for India Yuzvendra Chahal bagged 2 for 28.
