Global T/20 batting super star Chris Gayle leads a list of 7 West Indies players who are set to compete in the 2019 version of the Indian Premier Cricket League the IPL.

Gayle is retained by the kings eleven Punjab while ‘Windies captain Carlos Braithwaite  continues to don the Sunrisers Hyderabad colours.

Andre Russell and Sunil Narine will continue to ply their trade for the Kolkata knight riders while Evin Lewis and Kieron Pollard   will represent the Mumbai Indians.

This follows the closure of the players window in which Australian players will play a limited role in this edition of the tournament owing to the T/2o World Cup campaign as stipulated by their ruling body……. cricket Australia.
