Kelvin Grant, an original member of British Jamaican Reggae Band, Musical Youth is currently promoting his debut album as a solo artist.

Kelvin who was the group’s youngest member, started his music career when he was only 5-years-old.

Musical Youth are best remembered for their successful 1982 single “Pass The Dutchie”, which became a number 1 hit around the world.

Musical Youth earned a Grammy nomination before disbanding in 1985 after a series of personal problems. The band returned in 2001 as a duo.
