Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James’ got a heroes welcome in his first game against his old team Cleveland Cavaliers last night, as he helped the Lakers to a 109-105 triumph.

Lebron James was welcomed back with a banner which read “thank you, LeBron.

Back on the court where he performed for 11 seasons, he finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, as Lonzo Ball supported with 15 points.

In other games Oklahoma City Thunders brushed aside the defending champions Golden State Warriors 123-95.

Eastern Conference leaders Toronto Raptors improved to 15 and 4 with a 124 -108 win over the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks got only their fifth win of the season after beating the Celtics 117 -109, while the hornet flew past the Indiana Pacers 127-109.

Other winners were the Milwaukee Bucks, the Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets and the Denver Nuggets.
