Leon Bailey set to leave Bayer Leverkusen ?

Jamaican born winger Leon bailey is set to leave Bayer Leverkusen but not in the upcoming January window.

This follows a meeting with the players agent according to reports.

It’s understood that bailey will be considering his options in January if his at situation at the Bundesliga club does not improve.

But on Wednesday, Leverkusen put an end to the transfer speculation for now following talks with bailey’s agent and stepfather Craig Butler, who had travelled to Europe from Jamaica.

Having impressed for Leverkusen in the first half of the 2017-18 season, bailey has been struggling for form since February and has scored only one goal in a total of 14 appearances across all competitions this season.

In August he renewed his contract until 2023 amid links with several premier league clubs including Chelsea.
