Wisynco through its brand Wata steps forward to sponsor Reggae Girls

Wisynco today became the latest sponsors of the senior reggae girls’ team who will represent Jamaica at the FIFA women’s world cup in France next summer.

The deal between Wisynco through its brand WATA and the  was inked today at the offices of the JFF in new Kingston and chairman of Wisynco, William Mahfood said his organization wants to play its part in ensuring the reggae girls are well prepared to represent Jamaica in France .

The Reggae Girls qualified for the world cup earlier this year after finish third in the Concacaf championship. They were led by striker Kadijah Shaw who scored some 19 goals in Jamaica’s qualification campaign.

The Reggae Girlz achieved the feat by defeating panama 4-2 on penalties on October 17 at the Toyota stadium in Texas.

Wata has now joined a list of sponsors which include, supreme ventures, the bob Marley and Alacran foundations as well as the sports foundation of Jamaica and Caribbean Airlines.
