Selector Gary Chucks is walking without support for the first time since having a stroke over a year ago.
In an exclusive interview, the veteran selector from African Star tells Music News that after being wheelchair-bound due to the stroke, he walked for the first time on Thursday, January 24.
On December 17, 2017, Gary Chucks, suffered a stroke while working at a street dance in Spanish Town.
The 48-year-old selector was unable to walk and had to undergo physical therapy.
Gary Chucks gained popularity during the 1990s as a member of the African Star Sound System that is acknowledged for spreading the name and music of dancehall deejay Capleton.
