The Manchester police are urging residents in May Day and surrounding communities to be on the lookout for strangers or untoward happenings in their communities.

The appeal is especially for residents of May Day, Knockpatrick, Old England, Albion, Sunset and Hillside.

Police believe a group of men, who robbed a supermarket in May Day about 7:30 this morning (Jan 27), may be hiding in the area.

The police say if anything unusual or any strange individual is observed, persons should immediately contact the police 119 emergency number, or 811.

Persons may also contact the Mandeville police at 876 961 5538, or the Newport police at 876 965 7253.
