Former champions West Indies Women will play in Group B of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

The group also includes England, South Africa, Pakistan and a yet to be confirmed qualifying team.

Australia will begin their title defense against India and will also face Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand, Sri Lanka and a qualifier in Group A.

The tournament will be played in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Perth with the SCG hosting both semi-finals on March 5.

The final to be played on International Women’s Day at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on March 8.

The 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup will be the second to be held as a standalone event following last year’s tournament in the Caribbean.
