West Indies Women have taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 International series against Pakistan, but did it the hard way with the home team pushing the game into a super over.
Deandra Dottin led the way with the bat hammering 2 sixes and a four in the super over, setting Pakistan a target of 19 to win.
Shakera Selman then took 2 wickets while conceding just one run to ensure the Windies came away victorious in the one-over eliminator by 17 runs.
Earlier Pakistan winning the toss and batting made 132 for 4 from their 20 overs Javeria Khan and Bismah Maroof doing well to revive the innings after the early loss of Umaima Sohail for nought.
Khan and Maroof put on a fine 59 for the second wicket, with both batters running between wickets every chance they got before Maroof was stumped off the leg-spin of Afy Fletcher for a 34-ball 31. Khan, in the very next over, was dismissed by Dottin for a 28-ball 26.
Shakera Selman bowled the over of the match taking 2 wickets to ensure we win the super over and the match!
