The ‘Windies women’s cricketers are back in Dubai after their 2-1 T/20 International series win over Pakistan women in Karachi over the weekend.
The teams will play three one- day internationals as part of the ICC women’s championship which counts toward qualification for the ICC women’s world cup in 2021 in Australia and New Zealand.
Joining the team in Dubai is Captain Stafanie Taylor who did not participate in the T/20 internationals in Karachi ahead of the first one day international on Thursday at the Dubai stadium.
The second and third games on February 9 and 11 will be played at the ICC academy ground in Dubai.
The ‘Windies women will have a full strength squad with the exception of all-rounder Hayley Matthews who has not fully recovered from an injury sustained last year during the women’s big bash league in Australia.
