Jamaica  Cricket  Association  vice-president Mark  Neita  says  sponsorship  for  cricket  is  one  of  the  key  components  that  he  will  seek  to  address  as  an  important  factor  if  he  is  elected  president  of  the  Association.

Neita  will  be  challenging incumbent  Wilford “billy” heaven for  the  top  cricket  post  at  the  association’s  annual  general  meeting   on  February  28  at  the  medallion  hall  hotel.

Neita  speaking  on  Irie Fm’s flagship call- in programme What’s  the  score  last  night  outlined  his  plan to  strengthen  sponsorship  for  local  cricket.

The deadline for nominations for the election  is  on  February 15.
