Jamaica Cycling Federation joins forces with Elite Australian cycling coach Donna Rae Szalinski

The Jamaica Cycling Federation in an effort to spread the knowledge of cycling in schools have joined forces with Elite Australian cycling coach and Olympian, Donna Rae Szalinski.

Szalinski who competed in the women’s Tour de France will stage a two day course which will be free for local Physical Education teachers who are interested to be trained as cycling coaches.

The coach lands in the island this afternoon and the courses will run over three days from February 18, 19 and 20.

President of the Jamaica Cycling Federation Joylene Griffiths told Irie Fm Sports that she is excited as this latest move, which is geared at rebuilding the expertise and interest in the sport across the island.
