Four people murdered in western Jamaica

Four people were killed in separate incidents in Westmoreland and St. James yesterday.

Those killed have been identified 55-year-old farmer, Lambert Colpas also called Lascelles,  and 27 year old mason  Ershel Dawkins, also called Geico  both of Darling Street, Westmoreland, 24 year old Michael Manning of  Norwood   and   23 year old Kashmar Chisolm   of Granville both in St. James.

In the latest incident, police report that about 10:45 p.m., residents of Darling Street heard gunshots and called the police.

The bodies of Colpas and Dawkins were found on the roadway.

Meanwhile, Manning was shot while walking along the Bethel Town main road about 8:10 p.m.

And Chisolm was stabbed during in a dispute allegedly with a relative in Granville about 2:30 p.m.
