Olympic gold medallist Veronica Campbell Brown is now a mother.

The decorated sprinter gave birth to her first child on February 23, but made the revelation on instagram today.

The post on instagram was accompanied with a photograph of the baby clutching the thumb of the three-time Olympic gold Medallist with the name Avianna Amora Brown emblazoned across it.

The baby weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces at birth.

In January, Campbell Brown said she was not sure of returning to athletics after giving birth.
