Sunshine Girls still no.3 on INF Rankings

by March 14th, 2019

Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls are still occupying the number three spot on the latest release of the INF World Netball Rankings.

The newest edition reflects matches played up until March 3 and include Hong Kong’s Four Nations Tournament ad the Quad Series between England, Australia and South Africa.

The Sunshine Girls, on 172 rating points, are just a point behind Commonwealth Games champions England who moved up two places to second after their exploits in the Quad Series in January.

The Aussies lead the rankings with 209 points while New Zealand and South Africa rounding out the top 5 places.

The top 10 is completed by Malawi, Uganda, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Trinidad and Tobago.

Swaziland (Eswatini) are no longer a member of INF and are therefore not eligible for a world ranking.

Thailand have moved down to 36th, and as a result, St Maarten have moved up to 33rd, Chinese Taipei to 34th and Israel to 35th.
