Amid an increase in crimes committed against children, the Jamaica 4H club has vowed to join the increased efforts to stamp out child abuse.
Chairman of the club Senator Norman Grant says all responsible adults should pull out all the stops and stand up to protect the country’s children.
He was speaking at the club’s 75th anniversary church service held Sunday at the Webster Memorial United Church in St. Andrew.
Senator Grant says the Jamaica 4H club will up its campaign, as it joins government and other organizations in the fight to protect children from attacks and abuse.
Mr. Grant adds that a clear message needs to be sent to those hell-bent on hurting children.
