“This album has timeless music and sounds,” says Sizzla Kalonji when asked to describe his latest album, Victory.
The 16 track album which marks the entertainer’s 90th CD was released by Breadback Productions this week.
In an exclusive Music News interview, Sizzla, in explaining that the album is different because of its versatility, says the first track titled “Dangerous” was created out of a need to protect our children.
Sizzla Kalonji believes that Victory has something for everyone as it speaks to social issues, life in general, and love for the ladies. According to Kalonji, “there’s a track for whatever mood you are in.”
Victory officially released on March 18 is currently available on digital platforms only.
Sizzla is slated to pay homage to Mutabaruka this Sunday, March 24, at IRIE FM’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Kingston Technical High School, Muta’s Alma Mater.
