It emerged at today’s (Apl 2) sitting of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament that the salary of the former Human Resource Manager of Petrojam was higher than previously stated.
The salary of the former H R Manager came in for scrutiny, following an audit of the state-run oil refinery.
Yolande Ramharrack faced the grilling of the PAC members prior to her departure, over her salary and not possessing the minimum qualifications advertised for the position.
Initially reports were that she was being paid $10 m then the figure went up to over $13 m.
PAC Chairman Mark Golding says the final figure is over $15 m.
Ramharrack also received a gross payment of $13.3 m dollars as severance pay.
