by May 1st, 2019

The second season of the global T/20 Canada Cricket League will bowl off in July with a clash between the defending champion Vancouver Knights and Toronto Nationals.

The 22-match tournament will be held in Toronto from July 25- August 11 and organizers have promised a bigger, better and stronger cricketing spectacle than last year.

The first season of the league included a number of big-name players, including Jamaicans Chris Gayle and Andre Russell, along with Steve smith, who played his first matches since he was banned by cricket Australia last year for his roll in a ball-tampering scandal against South Africa.

The list of marquee players competing in this year’s event will be announced in the coming days, organizers said in a statement.
