1 new comer and 1 local based player in 24 member reggae girls training squad

One new comer and only one local based player are called up to a 24 member reggae girls training squad for the May 19 friendly international against Panama at the National Stadium.

Earning her first time call up is Mireya Grey who plays for the Washington Huskies in the United States.

Chris Ann chambers of UWI FC is the only local based player named in the squad.

The rest of the players include prolific striker Kadija Shaw, Sashana Patterson Torriana Patterson, Trudy Carter, Ashleigh Shim, Allyson Swaby, Konya Plummer Nicole Mclure, Dominique Bond Flasza, Denesha blackwood, Chinyelu Asher, Chanel Hudson marks, Chantelle Swaby, Christina Chang, Laura Jackson, Olufolasade Adamolekun, Jayden Matthews, Shakira Duncan, Madiya Harriot, Cyanne Dennis, Marlo Sweatman and Yazmin Jamison who now plys her trade in New Zealand.

Meanwhile Assistant coach Andrew Pryce says following the game against Panama they will travel to Miami where the final sqaud for the World Cup will be named.
