RSPL champions Portmore united and runners up Waterhouse fc remained on course to be crowned champions of Caribbean Club Football.
This follows yesterday’s second set of matches in the flow Caribbean club championship at the stadium east where both teams recorded victories.
Javon East scored his second goal of the competition as Portmore eeked out a one nil win over as Capoise of Haiti in the second game of the double header.
Back to back national premier league runners Waterhouse wrapped up a 2-nil win over real hope in the first match.
Yesterday’s result sees Portmore leading the table with six points ahead of Waterhouse on four.
The final round of matches tomorrow will open with an all Haitian affair between A-S Capoise and real hope at 5.30, ………..following which will be the all Jamaica clash to determine the champion at 8 between Portmore United and Waterhouse.
The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions league.
The 2nd and 3rd place teams will qualify to the 2019 Concacaf League and the 4th place.
Team will play against the Caribbean shield club championship winner, SV Robinhood from Suriname for the last Caribbean spot in the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League.
