31st staging of the biennial UWI Games May 22  to June 1,  at the UWI Mona bowl

The 31st staging of the biennial UWI Games will be hosted between May 22  to June 1,  at the UWI Mona bowl.

The four UWI campuses will compete for the coveted championship in 10 sporting disciplines held over 10 days.

More than 500 students from Mona- Jamaica, St Augustine Trinidad, Cave Hill Barbados and the Open Campuses will engage in friendly sporting rivalry.

Sporting disciplines to be contested by student athletes include basketball, cricket, football, hockey, lawn tennis, netball, swimming, table tennis, track and field and volleyball.

Nine of the ten sports to be contested will be at the UWI Mona Bowl for sporting excellence while hockey will be played at the Mona Hockey Turf.

The Mona Bowl currently boasts the UWI/Usain Bolt Athletic track and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
