George Nooks freed

“Ride Out Your Storm” singer George Nooks has been freed of a charge of cocaine possession.

Nooks who was charged in 2017, appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court this morning, and the trial judge returned a not guilty verdict.

Tom Tavares Finson, one of the attorneys representing George Nooks, has always maintained that there were discrepancies in the case.

In May 2017, the police reported that George Nooks was spotted acting in a suspicious manner by a cop on an operation in his St Andrew community shortly after 9:00 pm.
He was accosted and a bag he was carrying searched.

According to the police, just under two ounces of cocaine was reportedly found.
