Dancehall deejay Charly Black continues to enjoy enormous success from his 2013 single “Gyal You A Party Animal”.

Three years after being certified diamond-selling in Latin America, Charly Black’s “Gyal You A Party Animal” produced by DJ Kurt Riley has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Charly Black who is being managed by Mavado’s former manager Julian Jones-Griffith in an Instagram post thanks to his team and fans.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) operates an award program for albums that sell a large number of copies. Albums that sell 500,000 copies are awarded the Gold Award.

In relating news, Charley Black’s debut album is slated for release this summer.

The Trelawny born dancehall deejay recently released his second single with Universal, titled Happy Zone. The single was produced by Izy, who also worked on Koffee’s hit, Toast.
