Ocho Rios residents pay respect to Edward Seaga

Scores of people turned out at the Anglican Church Hall in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, to pay their respects to late former Prime Minister Edward Seaga.

The flag draped casket bearing the body of Mr. Seaga was transported to St. Ann from St. James where scores of people filed pass the casket in honour of the late former Prime Minister.

Persons from all walks of life ranging from students to the elderly made their way to the church hall.

Some persons stated that they had to pay their respects, some for their personal testimonies.

And the celebration of the life and legacy of late former Prime Minister Edward Seaga, continues this evening in the town centre of Ocho Rios.

Scores of residents of St. Ann paid their tribute to Mr. Seaga at the Anglican Church Hall in Ocho Rios, where his body was in state.

Chairman of the St. Ann Municipal Corporation and Mayor of St. Ann’s Bay, Michael Belnavis says a traditional celebration will be held this evening.
