Commonwealth  games  gold  medallist  Frederic  Dacres  was  at  the  top  of  the podium   yesterday  at  the IAAF World Challenge  Meeting  in  Finland.

Dacres  won  the  Mens  discuss  event  with  an  effort  of  66.74  metres, while  his  compatriot Travis  Smikle  placed  5th  with 64.31  metres.

Daniel Thomas-Dodd took second spot in the women’s shot  put   at  19.03  metres.

Meanwhile  Michael  Rodgers  10  seconds  flat  won  the  Men’s  100  metres  ahead  of  Justin  Gatlin 10.01 seconds  and  Krystal Emmanuel  of  Canada  obliged  in the  Women’s  event  in  11.19  seconds
