Leon Bailey all set to to make Reggae Boyz debut at National Stadium

by June 17th, 2019

Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey is all set to make his international debut tonight in the historic first ever Concacaf Gold Cup double-header in the Caribbean.

This when the Reggae Boys open their campaign in the expanded tournament against Honduras at the National Stadium where he is expected to be among two changes to the Theodore Whitmore  coached team that beat the United States 1-0 twelve days ago in Washington.

Bailey was a squad member in the team’s assignment at Audi Stadium but did not take the field due as he was recovering from a hamstring injury and it was the collective decision by the Leverkusen and Jamaican team medical staffs to not risk the player at that stage.

The match is scheduled for an 8:00 pm start and is preceded by the opening game of the double-header between Curacao and El Salvador at 6:00 pm.
