by June 19th, 2019

With their debut world cup campaign out of the way attention now turns to strengthening the Jamaica Women’s Football program for future competitions including the Pan Am Games.

That’s the word according to reggae girlz head coach Hue Menzies.

The reggae girlz who played in group C’ at the FIFA Women’s World Cup are now on their way home after finishing at the foot of the table.

Their last outing yesterday saw them recording their historic first world cup goal in the 4-1 loss to the Australians who advanced to the knockout stage alongside Italy and Brazil after all three teams ended on 6 points.

Menzies is also looking ahead to the Pan Am Games which is scheduled to run from July 26 to August 11 in Lima, Peru.

The women’s football competition at the Pan Am games kicks-off on July 29 with the final on August 10.
