Nicole McClure keeps a clean sheet for Sion Swifts in Irish Women’s League

Jamaica’s reggae girl’s goal keeper Nicole McClure kept a clean sheet for Sion Swifts in the Northern Irish Women’s Premier League on Wednesday night.

This as her team defeated the crusaders strikers 4-nil .

It was an eventful couple of days for Jamaica goalkeeper Nicola McClure, who after making her FIFA Women’s World Cup debut in France saw Jamaica lost 4-1 to Australia.

Mcclure became the first player from the Irish women’s league ever to appear at the world cup finals when, after sitting out the ‘reggae Girlz’ first two matches.

Swifts are now third in the premiership on 17 points, two points behind leaders Linfield and Glentoran, with eight games played.

Mclure’s team will be action again next Wednesday against Glentoran.
