Queen Ifrica has blasted Senator Matthew Samuda over comments he allegedly made about her concerns regarding Jamaica’s Cockpit Country.

Queen Ifrica’s outburst came after Senator Matthew Samuda said he will tour the Cockpit Country with Bounty Killer following a meeting with the dancehall heavyweight at Jamaica House on Thursday, August 8.

However, Bounty Killer wasn’t the only artist using his social media platform to express concerns about Jamaica’s Cockpit Country. Queen Ifrica was front and center, along with Spragga Benz who urged his followers to sign a petition.

Outspoken reggae entertainer, Queen Ifrica via Instagram had a few things to say to Senator Matthew Samuda.

The issue of mining in the Cockpit Country has been a sore point for many stakeholders including environmentalists and community members, who have objected to the area being opened up to Bauxite Mining, despite assurances from the government that no mining will take place.
