People’s National Party (PNP) presidential hopeful, Peter Bunting, says Jamaica must allow new entrants into the banking sector, if it expects to see reduced banking fees.
Responding to questions at a town hall meeting last night, Bunting said the country must let go off its reluctance to facilitate new entrants into the sector.
He explained that with advances in technology, there are successful and cheaper banking models that should be allowed to operate in the country.
