Head of the Area 2 police, Assistant Commissioner Elbert Nelson, is urging parents and guardians to be vigilant about their safety as they carry out back to school shopping for the new term.

Speaking at a press conference at the Area 2 Headquarters ACP Nelson noted that personal awareness is critical for mitigating against robberies.

ACP Nelson noted that the Area 2 police will be doing their part to provide reassurance for shoppers in town centres across the three police divisions.
