Councillor for the Beecher Town division in St. Ann, Ian Bell is calling on the police to implement stronger crime fighting measures in the Parry Town community, following a double murder, this morning.

Police have only identified one of the 2 persons killed – 25 year old singer, Lance White, of Parry Town.

It’s reported that the other man, was from Clarendon, but frequently visited Parry Town.

Councillor Bell says he received the call about the incident at 9:30 a.m.

He said Mr. White and his family are well known in the community.

Bell says, he has asked the police to impose a curfew in the community, in a bid to curb violence.

The Beecher Town division councillor says he expects to meet with the St. Ann divisional commander sometime this week.
