19-year-old Iana Tickle Garcia walked away with the crown of Miss Universe Jamaica 2019 on Saturday.

The Miss Universe Jamaica title is the second crown of the year for Iana, following her Miss Universe Jamaica North West title back in June.

The Miss Universe Jamaica beauty pageant saw 18 young ladies from across the island, vie for the chance to become the newest beauty queen to represent Jamaica on the world stage.

As the new queen, Iana will represent Jamaica, at the 69th staging of Miss Universe to be held in London in December.

To date, Jamaica has never won the Miss Universe pageant, however, Yendi Phillips 2nd in 2010, Davina Bennett 3rd in 2017, and Kaci Fennell 5th in 2015 have all come close to winning the title.
