“Ghetto youths have legal assets and plans too,” said dancehall deejay Stylo G in a social media post he made from the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay on Tuesday.

The UK-based entertainer left the island today after he along with four members of his entourage were briefly detained at the National Police College of Jamaica in Twickenham Park, St Catherine on Monday. The five men were later processed and released.

According to Stylo G, the police barged in a house he was staying in Caymanas Country Club Estates in St Catherine following reports that there was a gun on the premise.

Before he was accosted by the lawmen, Stylo G used his Instagram live to capture bits of the ordeal.

Music News understands that the police reportedly found no weapons or evidence of illegal activities.

Stylo G who gained popularity for “Touchdown” a collaboration with rapper Nicki Minaj and Vybz Kartel, was on the island to promote his latest release, “Dumpling”.
